Automatic Precision, Inc. is a family owned business that has grown significantly to be one of the largest manufacturers of Escomatic and CNC Swiss precision parts, specializing in connectors and electrical contacts since being founded in 1976. Currently operating two buildings, consisting of 26,000 square feet, we house over 200 machines.   We are located in Harwood Heights, Illinois, just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Our quality program is accredited ISO 9001:2000, which affirms our commitment to total quality by meeting and/or exceeding quality management system requirements.

Our capacity is .008 thru 1.25" in diameter. We offer in house secondary capabilities and excellent outside sources that include heat treating, plating, centerless and OD grinding.

Primary Operating Equipment:

Citizen L-32 CNC Swiss – Quantity 2

1.25" capacity, six main axes, sub-spindle, four crossworking tools and Iemca CNC Bar Loader.

Citizen L-20 CNC Swiss – Quantity 8

.75" capacity, sub-spindle, four live cross working tools, and Iemca CNC Bar Loader.

Citizen B12-V and VI – Quantity 10

12 mm capacity, sub-spindle, two live crossworking tools, 12,000 rpm, three back work, three end work and 5 turning

Escomatic – Quantity 130

Fully equipped Escomatic coil fed machines with capabilities up to .25" capacity, that drop parts completely with cross-hole, front hole, back hole, slot, mill, and broach that are designed for close tolerance, high volume parts from coils of material providing minimal waste and a lower cost to the customer.
